Blokarting Cornwall

Blokarting © Rob Jewell

The immense popularity of blokarting in Cornwall means on some beaches such as Perranporth, Gwithian and Watergate Bay, beachcombers have to look both ways.

Weighing in at a svelte 30kg, the triple wheeled, sharkfin sailed, blokart is powered by gusts of wind. The preferred blokarting territories for novices and experts are beaches and airfields (preferably disused and absent of incoming light aircraft). Blokarting favours the county's famous flat beaches and the phenomenal wind that blows off the Atlantic ocean.
