Experience the joy of vertical movement over rock. Whether you are a complete beginner, expanding your horizons from indoor climbing or a budding rock monkey, our qualified and experienced instructors can guarantee you a good day out. Day courses run for different skill levels at a choice of different venues in Cornwall and Devon.
All our climbing instructors have experience climbing all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the World and hold the relevant qualifications from the MLTB for our activities. Transport, equipment (including rock shoes) and lunch are provided. All ages and abilities are very welcome.
Cornish Rock Tors is based in Polzeath (North Cornwall) and run by two friends with a passion for outdoor activities. Simon and Matthew between them hold instructors qualifications in rock climbing, hill walking, sea kayaking and coasteering. A perfect combination of skills, allowing you to enjoy the rugged and beautiful coast and moors of Cornwall and Devon.
Cornish Rock Tors Ltd was started in 2006 and we are proud to say that we hold an AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) license for all our activities and that all our instructors hold the relevant National Governing Body Awards for all the activities we undertake.

I went climbing with these guys in Sennen and had an amazing time. They were professional, patient, safe and fun. They helped me to feel comfortable on the rock but pushed me to make moves I thought were beyond me. A great experience.

We have just got back from a fantastic day with these guys and could not recommend them more highly. the day started well down at roche rock with some easier basics (well still quite challenging for us newbies). We then had a very tasty lunch provided before attempting some more interesting climbs. Simon was fantasic, encouraging us every step of the way, Cheers Simon you gave Craig a fantastic birthday.
I am now off to rest up as I am fairly sure I won't be able to move tomorrow, my arms have never ached more. Brilliant people excellent place.
