SWLT has five Watersports Centres across Devon, Cornwall and West Somerset, where you can learn to sail, windsurf, kayak and row, hire equipment or launch your own craft. During the summer each centre is open daily for tuition, hire and launch with extended hours some evenings to make the most of the longer days.
Siblyback Lake, near Liskeard, Cornwall Siblyback Lake is a picturesque lake surrounded by Bodmin Moor. You can enjoy all our water based activities at this lake where windsurfing and wakeboarding is particularly popular. Wakeboarding at Siblyback Lake is the first full cable wakeboarding system in Devon and Cornwall and the only clockwise system in the UK! Roadford Lake near Okehampton, Cornwall Roadford Lake is on the edge of Dartmoor between Okehampton and Launceston. The lake offers sailing, windsurfing, rowing, kayaking and camping. Tel: 01566 784859
Stithians Lake, near Redruth, Cornwall Stithians Lake is reputed to be one of the windiest inland waters in England, it’s not surprising therefore that it is a favourite with windsurfers and sailors alike. Upper Tamar Lake, near Bude, Cornwall Tamar Lakes are conveniently located just inland from the coastal resort of Bude, its fun relaxed atmosphere makes it a great location to learn a new sport or hire some equipment and enjoy sunny summer days on the water.
