All repairs are carried out using traditional and recycled materials. Timber is coppiced from the hedgerows and around 1,000 trees and hedging plants are planted each year. Composting organic matter keeps the vegetable garden happy. Electricity is green tariff and breakfasts are made using local, organic produce.
