Botelet offers self-catering Yurt holidays in a stunning rural setting in South East Cornwall. Situated upstream from Fowey and close to the fishing towns of Looe and Polperro, Botelet Yurts are perfectly located for a countryside break with a difference.Yurts are traditional Mongolian tents with wooden dome frames (crafted from local ash and oak) and heavy duty canvas on a wooden floor, raised on posts with a wood burner.
Choose from two remote locations each sleeping two adults.The Yurts are part of a working farm surrounded by wild flower meadows, with grazing cattle and sheep.
Higher Yurt positioned high in a field, catches late sunsets and has prime panoramic views over farm land and out to sea to Gribben Head and Dodman Point. Lower Yurt is positioned in a wild flowered orchard (grazed in late season) and is closer to farm buildings and facilities
The Yurts are equipped with a double futon, duvet and pillows, basic kitchen equipment, cutlery, gas burner, torch, logs and cold water tap. Linen supplied but please bring towels. Shared shower and lavatory outside farmhouse within two minutes walk.
