Gwel an Mor is Cornish for ‘View of the Sea.’ And it’s true, nature’s been kind to us here: we’re a new 5 star luxurious holiday village which sits high on hills above the Atlantic and we really do have the most beautiful views. But that’s just geography; we think we have to try a bit harder than that. And we do.Everything we do here comes down to this: it might be another day at work for us, but for you it’ll be one of the most special you’ll spend all year. This means paying attention to detail: we know a dirty wine glass or sand in the shower-tray is more likely to spoil your day than an afternoon’s indifferent weather.
It means sharing our knowledge and love of Cornwall. It means trying to be as sustainable as we can. Cornwall’s beauty brings millions here; unless sustainability runs through everything we do, pretty soon there won’t be much beauty left.
We believe that making the extra effort for all our visitors should be what we do as standard, all day every day.

Broaden your horizons and why not try Coasteering (jumping off rock faces into the Atlantic)?, surfing, kite surfing, mountain biking, mountain boarding, riding – what ever gets your adrenaline pumping we will try to find an activity to meet your needs.
We’re partners with Adventure Cornwall who publish The adventure sports magazine in Cornwall (you’ll find a copy of the magazine in your Lodge) and our reception staff will happily connect you with whatever you want to do. We can send you information, advise on itineraries and, for a nominal fee, make arrangements on your behalf.
...So those seeking beauty, peace and luxury will not be disappointed. But we also satisfy more energetic appetites. In our clubhouse is a fully-equipped gym, sauna, steam room, swimming pool and spa pool and outdoor children’s adventure play area. Our restaurant and bar (opening summer 2007) will serve high-quality, freshly-cooked meals and use, where possible, locally produced Cornish food and drink.
