Vertical Descents Moblie adventure centre offers the ultimate Coasteering adventure, brought to the coastline nearest to you, where ever you are in Cornwall.A family run business Vertical Descents has grown from Fort William, Scotland, the outdoor capital of the UK and has developed with organic growth from year to year providing a range of activities with a personal and friendly touch with expertise and safety being at the forefront. Specializing in Canyoning (the older brother of Coasteering) the business sought a natural growth towards coasteering, training and developing skills for a number of years it was then time to find the perfect location to specialise in this new combined rock and water activity, Cornwall the surfing capital of the U.K. was the perfect location and so Vertical Descents Mobile was born in 2004.
Vertical Descents coasteering trips consist of a combination of climbing, scrambling, traversing, swimming, caving and rock jumping, exploring the caves, swimming through white water and playing in whirl pools of the Atlantic coast you will see the Cornish coast from a totally different perspective like you have never seen it before.
Our mobile adventure centre carries all of the latest safety equipment needed for the activity, with qualified and experienced coasteering guides to ensure you have a fun and safe experience.
Having spent the past 9 years providing high quality adventurous activities around the U.K. and specialising in teaching/training in various white water safety courses Vertical Descents has designed the best possible coasteering sessions available. With safety at the forefront of our activities we will cater all our activities to your needs ensuring you have a fun and safe adventure.
Coasteering is for both individuals and groups, we tailor our activities to your needs so if you’re an extremist then we can give you the buzz you are looking for or if you are after something more relaxing you can enjoy a unique and different perspective of the Cornish coast. Coasteering is a fun activity for all people, which can build confidence in and out of the water. It is always different when ever you go meaning that each experience is one in a lifetime.
Our Small group ethic and environmentally aware stance means that we understand what our customers want and provide this with the least impact possible on our ever increasingly busy aqua playground.

We also offer ECO Coasteering which is a great activity, numbing the adrenaline rushes and exploring the flora and fauna of the greatest geological feat in Cornwall (the Cornish shoreline)
We also offer Extreme Coasteering which is aimed at those who have taken part in our traditional coasteering session and want something a little more demanding.
