Cornish Rock Tors
Exploring the North Cornish Coastline by sea kayak is simply breathtaking. The Atlantic has shaped this bit of coastline into beautiful beaches, rocky spits, gulleys and cave systems.North Cornwall also has a wealth of marine and bird life. We on occasion have seen Basking Sharks (plankton not people eating), Dolphins, Seals, Sun Fish, Sea lemons, Turnstones, Terns, Auks, and even a Puffin.
Your guide is a trained Zoologist and keen naturalist so be prepared to be bored/interested. You're guide is also qualified to lead and coach kayak groups on the sea by the British Canoe Union.
Cornish Rock Tors is based in Polzeath (North Cornwall) and run by two friends with a passion for outdoor activities. Simon and Matthew between them hold instructors qualifications in rock climbing, hill walking, sea kayaking and coasteering. A perfect combination of skills, allowing you to enjoy the rugged and beautiful coast and moors of Cornwall and Devon.
Cornish Rock Tors Ltd was started in 2006 and we are proud to say that we hold an AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) license for all our activities and that all our instructors hold the relevant National Governing Body Awards for all the activities we undertake.
