Despite a year-long absence from Finn racing – because of his America’s Cup commitments – the Cornish bred sailor won nine and came second in two races to finish the event well ahead of his closest challengers. “I’d only done five days’ training in a whole year, so I wasn’t really sure where I’d stand. Pleasantly surprised is probably the best way to put it. I’m pleased with the result and am looking forward to competing again next year.”Bookmark this item              |
