Yet again, Cornwall's kite surfing elite notched up some impressive results during the British Kite Surf Association tour. Perranporth’s Chris Stephens was crowned amateur champion ahead of the country’s hottest up and coming kiting talent. He will now test his skills on the pro circuit when the 2007 tour kicks off at Watergate Bay at the end of March. He will be up against BKSA pro tour number two, Denzil Williams from St Blazey. Cornwall based Carrie Begg will also be looking to consolidate her success after winning the women’s tour last year.
