| Silly surfing at this year's Godrevy Summer Swellboard Classic |
|
The National Trust is putting on its third annual Godrevy Mid-Summer Swellboard Classic on Sunday 17 June.
Judges will be looking for the silliest skilful moves possible on a surfboard. In 2005 Graeme Bailie won the competition with a headstand, a reverse takeoff sitting down and a few press ups. You can considerably boost your score by wearing fancy dress, so start looking now. This is an ideal first competition for surfers, as you’d be hard pressed to find a more laid back atmosphere. Boards are supplied to keep the competition even. |
