Sailing
Sailing in Cornwall is a popular outdoor activity and justifiably so. The county boasts a maritime history that's older than Captain Birdseye. It also plays host to a range of high profile sailing competitions and races across the year.
We have majestic tall ships in Charlestown, a plethora of fishing boats and trawlers working from cornish ports such as Mevagissey and Padstow, Roman Abramovich's 200 metre long yacht moored in Falmouth, not to mention world class sailing talent such as Ellen McCarthy sailing into the Falmouth estuary.
Sailing is a huge sport in Cornwall and hot spots include the Fowey, Fal and Helford estuaries, Mount's Bay, Rock and inland lakes such as Stithians and Sibleyback
Whether you're interested in dinghy sailing, catamaran sailing, cruising or yachting, the sailing centres, sailing schools and yacht charters below will help you to get out on the water.
