Artificial Waves & Wave Pools in Cornwall

When the surf goes flat, there is still a place where you can catch a wave at the Cornwall Flowrider. The Flowrider is an artificial standing wave created by pumping a thin sheet of water, no more than three inches deep, up a steep, curved bank. The sensation is similar to surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding and skateboarding. There are currently no wave pools or other artificial wave pools in Cornwall, so this is the only alternative to the sea.
