Cornish Kitesurfing joins South Pacific challenge
World record breaking kitesurfer Dreya Wharry will be back in action when she takes part in the Island Odyssey in the South Pacific later this year. The Cornish wonder woman hit the headlines last year when she kitesurfed non-stop for 132 miles from Watergate Bay to Ireland. She now plans to join three-times world champion Cindy Mosey on a 12-woman island to island race through the New Caledonia archipelago. “It’s one of those once-in-a-lifetime adventures,” said Dreya. “It promises to be a mind-blowing experience.”
