Camper Company going Great Guns
Classic VW Camper Hire company, Campers in Cornwall are celebrating their 500th customer booking.
Thanks to clients with a free spirit and a love of classic VW campers, the popular business has been running for six years and has seen their bookings mushroom. The lucky 500th customers received a bottle of bubbly to take away in the van with them. Co-owner, Kim Teagle said, ‘It is fantastic that we have had so many people using our campers, all of whom now have great memories of driving Skippy, Sherbie, Molly or George around Cornwall and Devon. It is wonderful to provide people with the camper van experience to enable them to enjoy the vans as we do.’
The vans have been used in BBC’s Countryfile and also housed the famous surfing sheep from Finisterre clothing company. It’s not unusual to see their vans gracing the front page of The Sunday Times Travel section or on a Surfers against Sewage advert! Kim continues, ‘Our customers tend to be families and couples enjoying holidays in Cornwall – many of them just wanting to try the VW experience before they buy. Some are just happy to enjoy the adventure of the open road in a classic VW camper’.
Campers in Cornwall hire Split screen and Bay window VW camper vans. All the campers are right hand drive and are kitted out with all the camping equipment you will need for your holiday. The split screens have upgraded brakes, suspension and engines to ensure they are safe and easy to drive, whilst the bay windows have 2 litre engines which enables them with more power to cope with modern day traffic and hills.
