Disabled Kiting
People with a variety of disabilities are now able to enjoy traction kiting, buggying, landboarding and kitesurfing, thanks to new, specially adapted equipment.
"We wanted to promote equality of opportunity to access the sports and to introduce people to an array of new activities that before now would not have been possible. I knew that there was great potential to open up the activities to a wide range of disabilities. It was just a matter of finding ways to adapt the equipment," said Louise McDonagh from Mobius.
Equipment was created by Mobius’ own Chris Worboys. He designed and built a buggy for the disabled from scratch in his shed!
