Fal River Autumn Walking Festival
A celebration of the unique landscape, scenery and history of the Fal River will take place from 21 October to 06 November 2011 when hikers and outdoor enthusiasts come together for the Fal River Autumn Walking Festival.
The Fal River Autumn Walking Festival, sponsored by The Nare hotel, will feature the very best that the Fal River has to offer. The walks will encounter historical points of interest, meander along coast paths, pass through areas of outstanding natural beauty and world heritage sites.
Featuring guided and self-guided walks for all ages and abilities through some of the most stunning scenery Cornwall has to offer, the festival covers areas from Falmouth to Truro, the Roseland to the Helford Passage. Walkers will experience the unique flora and fauna, birds and wildlife, and picture perfect views with valuable commentary from the expert guides who have a wealth of local knowledge and experience to share.
